Overview
It's been about two years since I started using the Switch Pro Controller.
The response of its stick became sluggish, so I decided to disassemble and clean it.
Disassembling
Removing the grip
I used a precision screwdriver #00 for this step, but a #0 screwdriver seems to work just fine too. I'll use #0 for the next steps.
Removing the back cover and battery
Splitting it in half while being careful with the white vinyl
It seems that the white vinyl cannot be easily removed. Try not to touch it too much.
Removing the stick and cleaning it
Then, apply some grease.
Letting the grease dry and finishing up
The end
After this procedure, it seems that the stick's responsiveness has been restored.
