Overview

"Games I'm really bad at but always end up playing when I visit friends" were "Smash Bros" and "Mario Kart". This time, I played through Mario Kart's offline mode at a friend's house, so I'll record it here. I don't own the game myself. After all, Mario Kart is something you play at a friend's place, right (?) .

Completing All Grand Prix with 3 Stars

When I say I played through the offline mode, I mean this:

I got 3 stars in all Grand Prix: 50cc, 100cc, 150cc, 150cc Mirror, and 200cc. You can get 3 stars by finishing first in every race in a single Grand Prix challenge.

As I mentioned at the beginning, I've never been good at Mario Kart, but I managed to get better by following these steps:

  1. Play casually
  2. Learn about the Drift Turbo system
  3. Learn about the Jump Action system
  4. Learn about the system where you can attach bananas and shells to the back
  5. Become able to brake while drifting

Of course, my character is Inkling Girl.

Well, I had to search the internet to learn terms like "Drift Turbo," but these are the very basics, and it's kind of embarrassing to even write about them on a blog. However, it was fun to slowly collect stars at my friend's place, so I'll proudly share it.
