Overview

I broke the zipper on my wallet.

The Top Stop came off, causing the Slider Body to detach from the Element.

"Shall We Fix It?"

Oh, look who it is! It's the person who made this wallet for me two years ago!

So today, I'm going to talk about how this person repaired the zipper for me.

The Repair Story

"Let's start by attaching the Slider to the Element, shall we?"

Midori san: "Eh? Can I really push it in that hard...?"

"Both Top Stops have flown off, so we need to put new ones on."

Midori san: "Eh? Isn't it already fixed?"

"Not yet. As you can see from this ready-made product, a proper zipper has its Top Stop fitting snugly into the Slider Shoulder."

Midori san: "True that."

"After carefully adjusting the Top Stop to fit into the Slider Shoulder, here you go."

Midori san: "What? It's done already while I looked away for a second?"

"The area around the Top Stop is getting frayed, so could you singe it with a lighter when you get home?"

Midori san: "Got it!!"

And that's it. Writing this up, I remembered I forgot to singe it with a lighter.
