Thoughts
- Last year, I ran every day for ten days straight and ended up completely exhausted. Learning from that, this year I chose to run every other day. It was absolutely the right call. Both mentally and physically, the difference was huge.
- During the holidays, my body feels incredibly light. Being able to enjoy that feeling is fun.
- In that totally brutal year, the total was 46 km. The distance is almost the same, but the experience was very different.
- I did hurt my leg a bit on the first day, so there was one stretch where I waited three days instead of one. Still, when you decide on “every day,” breaking the streak causes mental damage. By choosing every other day, that damage was almost nonexistent. Yeah, that was good.
- My legs turned into sticks either way.
