Overview

Looking back on my training in 2022. For me, running is the most cost-effective, time-saving, and efficient way to keep my body in shape. I kept it up for another year.

This is how I did in 2021↓

It's best to exercise promptly. It's a famous saying, but "When we're children we don't have money, when we're adults we have money but no time, and when we're old we have both money and time but no health". Therefore, we should strive for health from the beginning. If we are healthy from a young age, we will have time, and with time, we can make money.

I Ran a Distance of 1176km

In my 2022 training, the key points to note are...

  • I managed to consistently run 10km at a 5-minute-per-kilometer pace!
  • The Nike Pegasus 39 that I bought in May are really comfortable to run in!
  • I changed my tracking app from Adidas Running (smartphone app) to Garmin (smartwatch).
    • The "44.1km" in the image is the distance I measured with Garmin, which I then added to Running.
    • I'll write about how Garmin feels to use after a few more months of use.
  • I've started doing HIIT, a type of strength training, on occasion. It's also fun.

As I mentioned in my 2022 year-end review article, achieving a body that can consistently run 10km at a 5-minute-per-kilometer pace was a goal I've been aiming for, so I'm happy to have achieved it.
