Saki-san’s first Anomaly Card. It's really good.

But... I missed out on “Iris After the Rain.” This is the first time I’ve missed one of Saki-san’s cards… Oh well. I just can't bring myself to spend money not to buy the actual thing, but to buy the possibility of getting the actual thing (jewels).

First Anniversary Report Card

As someone who proudly calls himself a Producer of Saki-san, this report card lives up to the name.

During the “Hatsuboshi Academy Broadcasting Club” stream on 2025-05-28, it was revealed that this report card idea came from a younger employee working under Daichi Sato and Ryo Yamamoto. That's such a great touch!

Sakagami + Komino Interview Article

This part stood out to me:

  • While developing the concept... what really stuck with me was this: “Words that are written in text should never be vague.”
  • When a title involves a large-scale production, the number of people involved also becomes enormous.
  • If vague wording is used, each person interprets it differently, resulting in a fragmented product.
  • And when those pieces are assembled, the result ends up being a patchwork mess.

This really resonates with me, as it's similar to programming.

  • Back then, I thought I could just go through and correct each inconsistency by myself.

The difference in methodology between solo projects and team projects really hits home.

  • When I used to be involved in development, something strange often happened: only the unimportant parts ended up being well made.
  • Looking at the whole picture, because too much attention was given to those parts, the truly important ones suffered.
  • That’s exactly why... having a clear concept is so important.

Something that happens a lot in programming too.
